At least this is what Trailhead Cyclery states.
For me, racing bikes is about making goals and working towards them.
I never raced bikes, and in fact, I did not race much at all. Carts, running… well, that’s about it. However, I like riding bikes, mountain or road. And now, in my early thirties I decided to make a move and start racing bikes for fun and… no there is no profit in racing. Only fun, at least for some definition of fun. I find some appeal in riding as hard as I can, in speeding up the hill, in knowing that when I am riding on 90% of my physical ability, I still have 10% left.
And this is very important thing to know, if you ask me.
So here’s the deal: a few races in early 2008. And the way towards being fast and ferocious on the two wheels.
